SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER

| DESCRIPTION
|
This challenging position conducts R&D and customer application projects including new idea initiatives, prototype module designs, system tuning and testing, and on-vehicle calibration and validation, as projects require. Other responsibilities are conducting technical demonstrations and presentations in support of marketing and new business development, conducting market research and competitive analysis, and acting as an engineering interface with customers’ engineering teams and providing feedback and technical information to the corporate development groups.

| REQUIREMENTS
|
Requirements are a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with strong hardware design and good software development background. Master’s degree a plus. Four plus years electronics product design and embedded software development experience in automotive industry. Knowledge and experience with micro-controllers and CAN communication interface design and protocol. Good C language programming familiarity and well developed capability in modeling, simulation, analysis, and design with CAE software tools such as Matlab, Simulink, Stateflow and Toolboxes preferred. Knowledge on advanced automotive powertrain like hybrid vehicles, fuel cell vehicles or on vehicle active safety system including by-wire systems a plus. Self-motivated and have flexibility for different project assignments if necessary.
